the body

The body within itself is a simple thing to understand but, when you think in more detail, you realise just how complex we as humans are. When asked to think of 'the body', most people would think about the body in its simplest form, its limbs or perhaps even the inside and its organs. I wanted to disrupt this to demonstrate a new way of visualising the human form, and focus on the body as a visual entity and use shadows to convey shapes. I added this to bright and colourful backgrounds to contrast with the harsh shadows created, to add a fun and poppy aesthetic.
